About ARCSA

The Association for Registered Counsellors in South Africa (ARCSA) was formally started in June 2017 after an informal start in October the year before. What started as an outreach to similarly qualified people grew to a national network of close to 400 Registered Counsellors in it's first year, with its members being as diverse as our general population.

ARCSA's aim, in line with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) is to make psychological services accessible to the diverse South African population and to provide psychological interventions, both preventative and after-the-fact, that focus on supporting and promoting the well-being of individuals in community contexts.

To facilitate this, the database of participating ARCSA members is available to fellow Registered Counsellors as well as to the public seeking assistance in the form of counselling or assessments.

Join us in fostering mental health throughout South Africa.
